pill used in Europe

Post a new topicby sharita on Mon May 11, 2009 8:59 pm

I am new to this forum. I have a son that has springtime allergies and he really suffers. He's in college and every year finals are made only worse by the aggravation and discomfort of allergies.

Recently I read about a pill that is widely used in Europe, that I think is held under the tongue and seems to be very well thought of over there. Naturally, I forgot to document where I read this or any other pertinent information.

Does anyone know of any such pill? If I knew the name of it, I could check online to read up about it and try to see how I might be able to get it here.

I would greatly appreciate any comments that people might have, particularly anyone familiar with what they use in Europe. We've tried many things here and my son is ready to go the allergy shot route, which is something I would really like to avoid.

Thanks in advance! Sharita
