chronic cough

I am a previous smoker and have stopped 4 years ago. I have a hiatle hernia and gerd and the pulmonary dr,s say I have asthma also. I have been coughing for over 5 years and the cough seemes to come more from my epiglotis area. my cough has alot of mucus in it and feels like it also comes from my upper lungs. I have some nasal drip and take a inhaled steroid for it. I am taking advair,zantac. omniprozal and singulare and have a nebulizer I use 3 times a day and still cough.
